I don't know about you, but my children loved Sesame Street. Many lessons. Many laughs. Thought-provoking moments. Touching ones. And our favorite little creature was...is...Elmo. Lovable. The never-ending attacks on public television make me sad, disappointed. It makes a difference in the lives of so many children, especially our youngest ones. Support public television. (And public radio). The attacks probably won't end.

Those who dwell, as scientists or laymen, among the beauties and mysteries of the earth are never alone or weary of life. ~Rachel Carson
The most difficult thing is the decision to act, the rest is merely tenacity. The fears are paper tigers. You can do anything you decide to do. You can act to change and control your life; and the procedure, the process is its own reward. ~Amelia Earhart
Man cannot discover new oceans unless he has courage to lose sight of the shore. ~André Gide
